Happy NBA Free Agency, everyone! Now that we’ve officially begun the first day of 2014 free agency, there are tons of offers to be made and quality free agents to be signed. This summer will be one of the best free agency periods the NBA has seen in quite awhile, with dozens of superstars and quality role players hitting the open market.

But which free agents should your team be investing in?

To try and make some sense of it all, here’s a look at the top 10 free agents of 2014. This list is not just based on talent and achievements to this point, but also on potential for the future. For example, although Pau Gasol has had a fantastic NBA career, his better/healthier days are probably behind him, which is why he only makes the honorable mentions here. Inflated numbers on crappy teams were also a factor (sorry, Gordon Hayward).

Honorable Mentions: Luol Deng, Gordon Hayward, Pau Gasol, Isaiah Thomas, Marcin Gortat, Paul Pierce, Trevor Ariza, Channing Frye
