The Miami Heat are trying to figure out what they can do to put together the best roster possible this offseason and it seems they’re going to have to wait for the Carmelo Anthony domino to fall before anything starts to come into focus.

More from Chicago Bulls

One team that could have a direct effect on what the Heat do are the Chicago Bulls and they’re currently neck deep in the Carmelo Anthony trenches.

According to NBA scribe Jared Zwerling, if and when the Chicago Bulls amnesty Carlos Boozer, one place he could look to both return to form and possible throw up double middle fingers back at Chicago is down in Miami with the Heat.

The plan for Boozer to come to Miami could backfire and Chicago could get the last laugh if the Heat get the Boozer Bulls fans have grown accustomed to over the years. But Boozer as a role player on the Heat could work out very well as it’s a lower pressure situation that could prove fruitful for all involved.

Of course, the Heat could have no interest in Boozer at the end of the day, but it’s not a bad plan and it’s one that Pat Riley will at least look into but won’t be able to until Chicago decides once and for all what they want to do with Boozer’s bad money contract.
