While Carmelo Anthony’s free agency tour has been getting most of the attention, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James is also a free agent. NBA teams looking to land LeBron have been secretly meeting with James’ agent in Cleveland while he is on vacation.

According to a report from Marc Stein, those meetings have already wrapped up and teams have made their presentations. Those teams to meet with James’ agent include the Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks.

Out of those four teams, the field would be narrowed and the “finalists” would get to make presentations with James and his agent both present. Assuming that the three finalists include the Miami Heat, that means two of those four teams would be out of the running. It’d be pretty ridiculous to meet with four teams to rule out one.
Three finalists could return to Cleveland early next week to make presentations w/ agent and LeBron James present, source tells Yahoo.
