Now that LeBron James has officially announced he would be leaving the Miami Heat to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team he left to join the Heat as a free agent in 2010, rumors surrounding the rest of the stars in the league will heat up and plenty of deals should go down in a hurry.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

In fact, it seems inevitable James’ former Heat teammate, center Chris Bosh, will soon be a member of the Houston Rockets. New York Knicks’ free agent forward Carmelo Anthony is mulling a return to the Knicks or leaving New York for the Chicago Bulls or Los Angeles Lakers.

However, the biggest fish may be Minnesota Timberwolves’ power forward Kevin Love. The Cavaliers reportedly could trade the number one overall pick of last month’s draft, swingman Andrew Wiggins, to acquire Love. Of course, they could have some competition. The Golden State Warriors were supposedly close to trading Love, but they refuse to give up guard Klay Thompson.

However, according to Tim Kawakami of The San Jose Mercury News, the Warriors have no plans to trade Thompson for Love.

Love averaged 26.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game last season while shooting 45.7% from the field, 37.6% from three and 82.1% from the charity stripe. Thompson averaged 18.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 44.4% from the field, 41.7% from beyond the arc and 79.5% from the charity stripe. In the postseason, he put up 16.4 points, 3.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game while shooting 40.8% from the field, 36.4% from three and 79.2% from the free throw line.
