LeBron is committed to the Cavaliers long-term and is not expected to waffle in free agency again, but we won’t have to worry about that for at least another year.
The more pressing question is, “what number will LeBron James wear with the Cavaliers the second time around?”
James wore No. 23 in his first stint with the team and he could always try to pick that number back up. Fans that didn’t burn their old LeBron jerseys would likely appreciate that, but it appears that LeBron could be considering a different number.
If the latest rumor proves to be true, then LeBron will not wear No. 23 or No. 6 like he wore with the Miami Heat, but the No. 32 that he wore as a freshman at St. Vincent St. Mary’s.
We will just have to sit back and wait to see what number LeBron ultimately chooses, but LeBron has always been more of a Magic Johnson style player than Michael Jordan, so the No. 32 would be fitting.
