Padraig Harrington drops in a shot blindfolded (Video)
By Dan Zinski
In golf when someone has a blind shot that usually means there’s an object or a tree or some other obstruction preventing them from seeing where they are trying to hit it. It doesn’t usually mean the golfer is actually blindfolded.

In this case, Padraig Harrington is actually blindfolded. It wouldn’t be that interesting for Padraig to just hit regular straight shots at the hole while blindfolded so he adds the extra difficulty of going around and through trees.
Padraig can’t see anything with the blindfold on, so he needs his caddie to steer his body and help him line up the shots. After a little adjustment, Padraig can easily hit every shot onto the green around the trees.
That is what I call some serious muscle memory right there.
For the grand finale, Padraig hits a shot through a narrow gap between the two trees and drops it right into the hole.
It’s truly amazing to witness the body control of a professional golfer. The caddie can literally move Harrington an inch this way or that way and Harrington’s swing is so consistent, he hits it where the caddie is aiming him without his actually being able to see where he’s hitting it.
Go ahead, go out on the course and try that. Good luck.
