Since LeBron James announced that he would be returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers almost a week ago, the trade rumors with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love have been swirling like no other, with Love absolutely being on board with the whole deal. Also, it doesn’t hurt that LeBron wants Love to be on the team either.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

This has led some to believe that maybe James doesn’t buy into the Wiggins hype like a lot of other people do, but as ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reports, that’s not the case at all.

In actuality, just like a lot of us, LeBron likes the potential that Wiggins has as a star in this league down the road, but he wants to bring that title to Cleveland, and he believes his best bet to do it sooner rather than later is with Love.

Throughout all of this, most have pointed out that the Cavaliers would be wise to deal their no. 1 overall pick to Minnesota, simply because you’re bringing in someone like Love that we all know is a great player, whereas we aren’t quite sure what the ceiling is for Wiggins just yet.

It’s a gamble, yes, but it seems like LeBron wants his chips with Love for this one.
