Broncos’ John Fox: Peyton Manning could be better this season
By Jack Crosby
It’s crazy to think that, after the season that he had in 2013, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning could get better in 2014, but his head coach, John Fox, certainly believes that’s a possibility.

In a recent interview with NFL Total Access, Fox expressed his theory on his legendary quarterback following up what he did in 2013 with an even better performance in 2014.
“I think so, we talk about that every day,” Fox said. “Whether it is a football team, individual position or even an individual player. You know that’s the goal to get better every day. He has worked very hard, he is in the best shape he has ever been in, all his numbers in our weight and conditioning program
are all up from a year ago, even before that. There are areas he can improve in and he knows it and he will.”
Manning, in leading the Broncos to a Super Bowl appearance last year, broke the single-season records for yards thrown (5,477) and passing touchdowns (55) and he walked away with his fifth NFL MVP Award.
But as far as an even better performance, while some might see it as unbelievable, Fox might end up being right. Manning has all of the pieces back on offense this season to get the job done.
One thing is for sure, and that’s the fact that it’ll be fun to watch Manning try to outdo himself, no matter what the outcome.
