The New York Giants didn’t make it through practice on Tuesday entirely unscathed, first-round draft pick Odell Beckham pulled up while running a pattern. On Wednesday, General Manager Jerry Reese said, via Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, that Beckham tweaked his hamstring.

Not exactly a great start for the Giants. Not only is Beckham in his rookie training camp, the Giants are installing a new offense and there is a lot to be learned and worked out.

To make matters even worse and maybe raise some concern for the Giants, this isn’t even Beckham’s first hamstring injury in his brief NFL career so far.

Beckham said just days ago that his hamstring was back to 100 percent and instead said that it was “feeling a lot better,” according to Justin Tasch of the New York Daily News.

“It’s not easy to just overcome a hamstring injury,” Beckham said. “Kind of just in the back of your mind you always have that there, but you try not to focus on it as much and go as hard as you can.”
