Each and every season, one of the main questions surrounding the Dallas Cowboys is whether or not this is the season that Jerry Jones fires head coach Jason Garrett. When a question like that has to be posed virtually every season, there is something wrong, but Jones never seems to think so.

His stance pretty much remained the same on Wednesday as he and Garrett met with the media one day before camp starts. Despite this being the final year of Garrett’s contract, Jones reiterated to the folks in attendance once again that this is not a make or break year for Garrett.

Now of course, people at this point are used to Jones saying this, but this year is indeed a little different with Garrett in the final year of his deal. Should the Cowboys fail to get themselves into the playoffs once again, then we very well could see Garrett be shown the door.

In four years at the helm of the Cowboys, Garrett is just 29-27, not exactly up to the standards that Jones demands out of his organization, which is why so many people are surprised that he has stuck around this long.
