Paul George’s days of wearing No. 24 might be nearing an end, if you are to believe some cyrptic tweets from George.

First, George tweeted that he had “something in store” for Pacers fans, which was followed by a separate tweet that just read “#Trece.”

Confused? Well, Trece is 13 in Spanish, leading many to believe that George will indeed be switching his jersey to No. 13.

If George went with No. 13, he would effectively be creating an incredible nickname for himself, PG-13.

While many might think this is silly Internet overreaction to a couple of tweets, it’s absolutely worth noting that the idea of wearing No. 13 and going by PG-13 was floated to George an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in January and he seemed intrigued.

The Indianapolis Star has transcribed the relevant portion of the interview:

"Kimmel: My friend Bill Simmons would like you to change to 13, so you can be PG-13.George: That’s not bad.Kimmel: Is that a consideration?George: That’s not bad, That got a ring to it, PG-13.Kimmel: Do you have to go through a process to change a name?George: I think I have to send out sorry letters to everyone who just bought their 24 jerseys."

According to George’s first tweet, we’ll find out soon enough what his plans are.

George averaged 21.7 points (42.4 percent shooting from the floor), 6.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists this past season with Indiana.
