Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that Romo missing practice isn’t cause for concern, just Romo exercising caution.
“I think he is using his judgment,” Jones said on WFAA-TV with Channel 8’s Dale Hansen , via the Dallas Morning News. “I heard a term called ‘feel heavy.’ It’s not short pain or the inability to perform. Judgment says if you’re not going to have to do it that day, you should let off of it a little bit. I think that’s what we are doing here. He is ready to go if need be.”
That “feel heavy” line is something Jones has said before discussing Romo’s health.
“Tony is making that call if there is any change from the plan,’’ Jones said on Saturday, via the Dallas Morning News. “If he’s feeling a little heavy in a sense of muscles, he’ll give them a break.
“I’m glad he’s mature enough and experienced enough to understand his body and make those kind of decisions.’’
