To the handful of football fans that enjoy watching the NFL’s version of the all-star game, there is some fresh 2015 Pro Bowl news to take in.

More from NFL

On Wednesday, the league announced that they will once again be straying from the AFC vs. NFC format in favor of a fantasy draft conducted by two Pro Football Hall of Fame captains.

The captains for the 2015 version of the Pro Bowl will be Hall of Fame wide receivers Michael Irvin and Cris Carter.

The 2015 Pro Bowl will also not be in Hawaii.

Instead, it is being held on Sunday, January 25 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.

Surprisingly, last year’s Pro Bowl actually did provide some entertainment with the new format seemingly motivating players to perform at a higher level than in years past.

Whether or not that intensity will carry over yet again remains to be seen, but the Pro Bowl can only continue to get better so it can’t hurt to give it another shot.
