On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers held a scrimmage and it was not a positive experience for undrafted tight end Colt Lyerla.

Lyerla was injured during the scrimmage and he needed to be carted off of the field because of a leg injury.

The Packers have yet to officially comment on Lyerla’s status, but the early fear seems to be that it could be a serious injury.

After practice, Lyerla was spotted on crutches.

Lyerla has had his fair share of off-field issues that led to the former Oregon Ducks standout plummeting to the ranks of the undrafted, but he certainly has potential to be a top talent in the NFL.

Unfortunately, this injury could be a big setback before he even gets the opportunity to step onto the field in a meaningful game.
