New York Giants rookie running back Andre Williams made quite the impression last season during his senior year at Boston College, when he rushed for over 2,000 yards and earned himself a Heisman invite. In his first bit of NFL action on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills, he picked up right where he left off.

With some conflicting reports this week that he was not picking up on some things as quickly as the team would have liked, Williams showed that he can be just as effective as ever, and he showed that by proving he could be a pivotal goal-line back for his new team.
In the first quarter of the action on Sunday night, Williams scored the first touchdown of the game, and the NFL preseason, with this run from three yards out.
When the Giants were able to pick up Williams in the later rounds of the draft back in May, there were many that believed the team got themselves a steal, and you would have to imagine that head coach Tom Coughlin is quite pleased with the performance of his rookie so far.
