The Washington Redskins hit a home run drafting running back Alfred Morris, and they might be capturing lightning in a bottle twice. They used a late round draft pick on wide receiver Ryan Grant, who is the surprise standout so far according to according to ESPn writer and Redskins beat man John Keim.

“Rookie Ryan Grant really understands how to use his body on routes. Coaches like the way he drops his hips, but it enables him to come out of his breaks faster,” Keim writes.

Keim wasn’t don’t gushing about Grant. In response to a fan asking who the camp sleeper is in a mailbag session, Keim wrote: “I love watching him run routes. He’s very fluid in and out of breaks and does well selling fakes with his body lean and the crispness of his cuts. The question I have is can he get off jams, and I’m not sold on his ability in that area. He’s not fast. But overall I like him because he runs routes like a pro, something you can rarely say about a rookie.”

Grant might still have physical limitations to deal with coming in at 6′ and 199 pounds.
