You have read the headline “Former NFL wide receiver Reche Caldwell has been arrested” multiple times already in 2014, and that is true yet again after an arrest this weekend.

According to Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, Caldwell was arrested for marijuana possession and driving on a suspended license in Florida on Sunday.

The latest arrest comes months after Caldwell was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a different arrest for his involvement in running an illegal gambling operation.

Caldwell joined the NFL as a second-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in the 2002 NFL Draft.

After just three years in San Diego, Caldwell finished out his career bouncing around the league with stops on the rosters of the New England Patriots, Washington Redskins and St. Louis Rams. Caldwell racked up 152 catches and 11 touchdowns during his six-year career in the league.
