Denver Broncos vs. Seattle Seahawks in lightning delay
By Jack Crosby
The 2014 NFL preseason is getting underway on Thursday and one of the match ups taking place is a Super Bowl rematch between the Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks. Although, the game will be going on a lot longer than expected as the action has been delayed for a bit due to lightning.
Football is a game that everyone prides on being played in all kinds of weather, but once the referees see that lightning in the sky, they have to kick the players off the field and get everyone back to the locker room as soon as possible.

Already, the action has been plenty in this one. And unlike back in February, it’s been going well on the side of the Broncos.
First, early on in the game, DeMarcus Ware recorded the first sack of his Broncos tenure when he was able to get in the backfield and bring down Russell Wilson.
Then, Denver scored the first points of the game when running back Ronnie Hillman took one in from one yard out to put his team up 7-0.
But we’ll have to wait a little longer for now until we see more scoring in this one.
