From the moment LeBron James announced his decision to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a letter on SportsIllustrated.com that didn’t mention Andrew Wiggins, it seemed the former Kansas product’s days as a Cavalier were numbered.

As the offseason progressed, it seemed more and more like a foregone conclusion that Wiggins would be sent to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a deal that brought Kevin Love to Cleveland. This culminated in an incredibly awkward interview on ESPN for Wiggins, where he was grilled repeatedly about his future and he eventually said the following:
"“I just want to play for a team that wants me. So whichever team wants me I’ll play for,”"
Well, now that the Wolves and Cavs have agreed on the trade that will move Wiggins, the fine folks at ESPN’s SportsNation have created in an incredible Fresh Prince of Belair-releated meme to sum up Wiggins’ short time as a Cavalier.
The actual scene of the 90s hit TV show features Will Smith’s character asking his uncle why his abandoned father won’t stick around. The tear-jerking scene is perhaps the series’ most iconic moment.
Wiggins is probably feeling a little bit like the TV character, considering it’s not often a team ships out its No. 1 overall pick before he’s played a game and had a chance to proven himself. But Kevin Love is a superstar and that’s how the business goes sometimes. At least Wiggins is going to team that badly wanted him, considering the Wolves were willing to move love for him.
