The Miami Heat lost LeBron James this summer, but they made sure to try and get over him by signing a slew of free agents including getting Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade back on new deals.

More from Miami Heat

But now that they’re back in South Beach, the Heat will need not Luol Deng or Danny Granger to step up and replace LeBron James’ production, they’re going to need big years from Wade and Bosh as the duo work to make their Dynamic Duo as powerful as what the Big 3 has been over the last few years.

According to Ira Winderman from the Sun Sentinel, the Miami Heat will need breakout years from Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade — something that is entirely possible, even given their ages.

"I know this is not the answer you’re looking for, but the breakout years have to come from a pair of incumbents: Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Bosh has to show he again can play as a leading man, and Wade has to show he can be an every-night contributor. It is the only way this is going to work this coming season."

That’s a lot easier said than done, as Wade isn’t a young player anymore and Bosh is leading a team for the first time since his days back in Toronto. It’s a serious experiment, but both Wade and Bosh know how to win and are capable of putting together a big year collectively for the Heat.
