Rebecca Lowe shows off her “American” accent on Dan Patrick show
NBCSN took over the coverage of the English Premier League last season, and it was an undeniable hit stateside. Ratings saw an all-time high and part of the reason for that was NBC’s hiring of some of the most respected names from across the pond. No one is more popular than studio host Rebecca Lowe.

She made an appearance on Friday morning on the Dan Patrick show—which also happens to air on NBCSN (can’t imagine how that cross-promotion happened).
Lowe has become somewhat of a celebrity in sports circles with her willingness to show us her real personality while also giving us some great straight coverage of the EPL. During her time on the Dan Patrick show, Lowe even showed off her newly formed American accent (Video).
Of course, the accent is more “Valley Girl” than anything most people think of as a truly American accent, but at least she’s a good sport about things.
It’s the second big moment in the last few weeks, as she became a star during the latest Ted Lasso promo video for NBCSN’s coverage of the EPL. In it, she managed to play the straight woman to Jason Sudeikis’ former Tottenham Hotspur manager character, Ted Lasso.
With things looking up for NBCSN’s coverage of the EPL, it may just be a matter of when, not if Rebecca Lowe becomes the unquestioned star of its coverage.
