Hulk Hogan comes out and gets things started for SummerSlam this year and sells the WWE Network. Literally, that was all that he did.

Now it’s time for the action.

The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler (WWE Intercontinental Championship)

The Miz comes out first and touts his movie career and then says that he’s going to make Dolph the WWE version of the Lakers to get heat off the crowd. Dolph is out next to a nice pop from the Los Angeles crowd.

After the bell rings to get things underway, they lock up in the center of the ring. They trade hip toss attempts in the middle of the ring, then Ziggler goes for a sunset flip but he can only get a two count. Miz rolls to the outside.

Back in the ring, Dolph starts mauling him again and Miz goes to the outside. But this time, Dolph goes out to get him back in. He continues the onslaught in the corner with some chops. Eventually, Miz hurls Ziggler front first into the corner to buy himself some time.

The two get back into the ring and AJ hits a Shining Wizard, but she can only get a two count. Paige then catches her with a kick to the face.

Before the match starts, Rusev attacks Swagger in the ring. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock, but the referee separates them because the match hasn’t even started yet.

The bell finally rings and Swagger starts pounding away in the corner. He works on the injured leg of Rusev. Ruseve keeps trying to go to the outside, but Swagger just keeps going after him on the attack. The second time that he went out, Swagger hits a huge clothesline.

Back in the ring, Rusev is able to counter with a knee and now he begins to take it to Swagger. After a few minutes of the onslaught, Swagger is able to hit a belly to belly, then he unloads with some right hands and a clothesline. He hits the Swagger Bomb, but he can’t get the pinfall.

Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho

Leading up to SummerSlam, one of the WWE’s biggest pay-per-view events of the year, Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho were beefing. Wyatt didn’t like Jericho referring to himself as a savior and was out to destroy him.

More from WWE

Still, Jericho and Wyatt are two of the most entertaining wrestlers in the industry, and both have incredible entrances.

The match at the beginning was a little back and forth. Wyatt had the advantage trying to pin Jericho a couple of times. Early in the match Wyatt did the thing where he hung upside, abandoning it to go for the “sister Abigail.”

Jericho reversed it and rolled him into a pin, unsuccessfully. He then was able to hold on and rolled him into the “Walls of Jericho.”

Wyatt was able to get to the rope to force Jericho to release the hold. As Jericho approached Wyatt, he threw him onto the apron and then slammed Jericho’s head off the edge of the ring with a DDT before going for a pin.

Wyatt was in control again, and climbed to the second rope before Jericho was able to recover and stop him. Jericho pulled off a lionheart from the top rope.

Jericho was going to go for the lionsault, but Wyatt did that upside down bridge thing and stopped dead in his tracks. Wyatt began screaming about being “already dead” as they stared at each other from across the ring.

Jericho then pulled off the code breaker, Wyatt recovered and they were outside the ring. Wyatt pulled off the sister abigail off the barricade.

They return to the ring, Wyatt hits the sister abigail again then pins Jericho for the win.

Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie is out first and she looks in absolute great shape. Brie is out next and she looks determined. The bell is rung and they immediately lock up. Stephanie gets Brie into the corner, showing off a bit of her skills. They lock up again and Stephanie drapes Brie over the second rope.

Stephanie remains in control throughout a good portion of this match, working over Brie in the corner now. She lays into Brie with some kicks in the corner.

Eventually, Brie goes for the YES lock in the middle of the ring, but Stephanie is able to escape. Brie tries to dive onto the outside, but Stephanie catches her with a huge shot, dropping her over the apron. Brie is able to get back into the ring before the  count.

When Brie does get in the ring, Stephanie then drops her with a DDT. Basically, this has been all Stephanie for the first few minutes.

Next up was a nice running neck breaker, followed by digging her foot into the back of Brie’s neck. She taunts Brie, but Bella lands some kicks. Brie then catches Stephanie in a Thesz Press, followed by an elbow in the corner. She then starts nailing kicks on Stephanie in the corner.

Brie kits a missile dropkick, but Stephanie kicks out from the pin.

And here comes Triple H, followed by Nikki Bella. Brie gets Stephanie in the YES Lock, but Hunter pulls the ref outside. Brie then hits a kick to Triple H on the outside.

Nikki then turns on Brie, smacks her and helps up Stephanie. Steph the hits the Pedigree and gets the pin.

Winner: Stephanie McMahon

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Randy Orton is out first for this one, followed by Reigns through the crowd with some new ring gear. The two men square off in the center of the ring and Reigns immediately begins teeing off on Orton. Randy quickly goes to the outside. After some action back and forth inside the ring, the two head to the outside.

On the outside, Orton starts picking Reigns apart, throwing him into the steel steps. He tosses him back into the ring and straps on a headlock in the center of the ring. Reigns tries to fight back, but Orton counters coming off the ropes. From there, Orton starts to stomp away.

Randy takes Reigns to the corner and sets him up on the top rope. He hammers away with some head butts from there. After pounding away, Orton hits a super plex from the top, and a beautiful one at that. He’s only able to get a two count.

Again Reigns tries to make a comeback, but Randy puts the stops to it and continues to work Reigns over.

In the middle of the ring, the two start trading blows, with Reigns getting the better of the exchange, and finishing it all up with a huge clothesline. On the outside, Orton throws Reigns into the barricade, once again stopping the comeback. He gets him back in the ring.

They make their way back to the outside, and Orton slams Reigns onto the announce table before tossing him back into the ring again.

Reigns is able to get back on the offensive and he hits a Samoan Drop from the top rope! He goes for the cover, but only gets a two. He gets up and hits the Superman Punch, knocking Orton out cold. He goes for the spear, but Randy hits a nice power slam as a counter.

With Reigns on the outside now, Orton hits the DDT from the ropes. Coming off the ropes, Orton hits an RKO out of nowhere, but Reigns kicks out!

Now, Randy is looking for the punt, but Reigns counters, hits the spear off the ropes and gets the three.
