Phoenix Suns rumors: Eric Bledsoe trade unliekly
Although Phoenix Suns’ guard Eric Bledsoe is 24-years old and is one of the more promising young player in basketball, there hasn’t been a lot of interest in him this offseason. Bledsoe is a restricted free agent and most teams likely believed the Suns would match any offer sheet Bledsoe signed – and they probably would have. The Suns reportedly offered Bledsoe a four-year, $48 million deal but Bledsoe is reportedly looking for a max deal, which would be worth about $80 million over five years, a deal the Suns simply won’t be giving out. That has led to speculation the Suns could deal Bledsoe.

However, Alex Kennedy of Basketball Insiders does not believe a Bledsoe trade is likely but admits it is a possibility.
"As far as an Eric Bledsoe trade, I don’t know if we’ll see one. Phoenix hasn’t been open to discussing sign-and-trade possibilities and if Bledsoe decides to sign for the one-year qualifying offer, he would have a no-trade clause. It’s possible that he gets moved but unlikely, in my opinion."
Bledsoe averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 47.7% from the field, 35.7% from beyond the arc and 77.2% from the free throw line last season. In his four-year NBA career, the 18th-overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NBA draft, has averaged 8.7 points, 3.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 44.5% from the floor, 32.7% from three and 75.8% from the charity stripe.
