We’ve made it! Football is back, and with that comes the over analyzing of the preseason, trying to find any advantage we can for our upcoming drafts. Many fantasy champions are made in the preseason. From analyzing rookies to scoping out all of the off-season moves, I will try to help you prepare as well. Houston Texans vs Denver Broncos
- Houston showed little to nothing that was fantasy relevant, so this one will focus mainly on Denver. One negative thing from the Texans is that Ryan Fitzpatrick failed to do much of anything last night. More importantly, most of his production came from short passes which brings the receivers down a bit in value. There won’t be many highlight bombs down the field here in Houston so long as Fitzpatrick is under center.
- Emmanuel Sanders had a monster game last night. I personally love Sanders, and own him in almost all of the leagues im in. He gives me the same feeling Wes Welker gave me two seasons ago when he first came to Denver. Sanders will have a monster season this year, guaranteed. He finished with five receptions on eight targets for 128 yards and two touchdowns. I expect big things like this from Sanders all year.
- Montee Ball was also heavily targeted in the passing game, grabbing all of his four targets for 21 yards along with four carries for 13 yards. It looks like Ball with get a huge bump in PPR leagues, and will have a big season.
