ESPN College GameDay headed to Michigan State vs. Oregon for Week 2
By Jack Crosby
Well the first official Saturday of the 2014 college football season is almost completely in the books, and it was certainly not void of any excitement. What makes it even better is that we still have a whole season ahead of us, and the biggest match up in Week 2 will unquestionably be between the Oregon Ducks and Michigan State Spartans out in Eugene.
And as everyone had expected, even in the offseason, the crew from ESPN College GameDay will be out there for their Week 2 coverage next Saturday.
This is one of the early match ups that people have been looking forward to all offseason long, and there is no reason that this contest shouldn’t deliver as the game of the week.

Michigan State, the defending Big Ten Champions, were victorious in their opener on Friday night over Jacksonville State, 45-7 in commanding fashion. They looked just as dominant as they were last season, if not more so.
As for the Ducks, they are currently leading in their opener against South Dakota in the second quarter, 28-6, well on their way to a win to start the year.
But there is no doubt that watching these two heavyweights battle it out next weekend will be fun to watch, and the ESPN crew will have it all covered.
