Domestic violence, driving under the influence, blatant hits, PEDs, marijuana and mollies (or Adderall).

These are just a few of the factors, along with torn ACLs, pulled hamstrings, and sprained ankles that will affect the very first week of the NFL 2014 season. Word on the street to diehard fans, gamblers, and fantasy league owners is you better check the suspended players list! With the start of the NFL season, 29 players are identified as inactive due to suspensions, while another half-dozen free agents were released with suspensions on the horizon.

This is not an ideal picture for the NFL, especially when there is one team owner and an assistant coach on the verge of receiving suspensions as well. That leaves just 13 teams in the NFL without a suspended player, which means an impressive team could be assembled, created entirely by suspension.

With that in mind, let us go through the top five suspensions that will have an impact on the first full week of the NFL.
