A Philadelphia area restaurant wasn’t happy with a 20 cents tip Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy left. The restaurant then decided to post the receipt of the transaction on their Facebook page to publicly shame Rice.
McCoy later addressed it, sort of.
Asked LeSean McCoy about the restaurant receipt thing. “It’s bull****, man,” he said. Declined request to elaborate.

On McCoy receipt thing: my understanding is, he was really ticked about service. But org wishes he’d handled it differently. He understands

Of course if you read through the comments on the post a lot of them are fellow customers spilling the beans on the awful service there, some saying any doubters should go read Yelp reviews to corroborate the legendary awful service at this particular restaurant.
It is kind of sad that an athlete or celebrity can’t go out to a meal and expect privacy. Or worse yet, that they be given bad service and still expected to tip 20 percent or face public shaming.
They might need to start writing explanations on credit card slips with bad tips so there is an explanation on them for why the tip was bad before restaurants try to shame them.
