It’s been a long last few days for the NFL and accompanying parties, and, unfortunately, it doesn’t look like things will be calming down anytime soon. According to Deadspin.com, US citizen Jana Weckerly is filing a lawsuit against Jerry Jones alleging the Dallas Cowboys owner sexually assaulted her.

Here are a few of the claims made by Weckerly against Jones which includes Jones forcibly touching her private areas.

"Defendant Jerry Jones intentionally, knowingly, and forcibly rubbed and/or grabbed Plaintiff’s breasts multiple times. Defendant Jerry Jones performed these acts without the consent of Plaintiff.[…]Defendant Jerry Jones intentionally and knowingly received oral sex from another female while in the presence of Plaintiff. When Defendant JERRY JONES intentionally and knowingly received oral sex from the female, he knew that Plaintiff was present and intentionally and knowingly wanted Plaintiff to see said oral sex act. Plaintiff did not want to see Defendant JERRY JONES receive oral sex from the female."

Outside of the sexual assault issues, Weckerly also says Jones intimidated her in hopes of her not revealing all of what is explained above.

"Defendants Jerry Jones and Cowboys intimidated Plaintiff and told her to keep quiet and not tell anyone else “or else”.Defendants Jerry Jones and Cowboys bullied Plaintiff into believing that she would somehow be in trouble if she told anyone about the sexual assault."

These are awful claims made against Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, all of which are illegal in the United States, and if Wecklerly’s claim prove to be true, he could be in severe trouble from the courts and from the NFL.

In the last few months, the NFL has had to deal with many issues that have drawn ample attention to the league and how they handle legal matters. Ray Rice’s domestic violence incident. Jim Irsay. The suspensions of Josh Gordon and Wes Welker.

NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell can now add Jerry Jones to that infamous list.
