The final game of Week 2 will feature two teams trying to still make names for themselves this season. On the one hand, there are the Philadelphia Eagles who came from behind to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1 and are in need of a big win to make a statement on national television. On the other end are the Indianapolis Colts

Keys to Victory

The Philadelphia Eagles need to make sure they don’t collapse early the way they did against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. That all comes down to not making stupid defensive mistakes but also not allowing for turnovers like we saw early. Nick Foles needs to secure the ball and limit his turnovers if he wants to keep the Eagles suspect defense off the field.

As for the Colts, they ran into a buzzsaw in Week 1 against the Broncos but they almost pulled things out in the end. That’s something that won’t happen in Week 2 as Andrew Luck must shake off the performance he had in Week 1, which really wasn’t all that bad but like Foles he must limit his mistakes and make solid decisions when the game is on the line.

Prediction

Last week might have been fluke weeks for either of these team as the Eagles looked like they were about to lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars before they came back to win. Similarly, the Colts may have just had a tough and unlucky game against a hungry Broncos team that lead to them being torched when they’re actually better than that.

Indianapolis needs this game and it’s hard to see them dropping into an 0-2 hole, but the Eagles nearly suffered an embarrassing scare last week against the Jags and that might be enough to keep them on notice through Week 2 and get them a win in Indy.

Final Score: Colts 24, Eagles 31
