Garth Brooks takes BP before White Sox game (Video)
By Dan Zinski
We’re used to seeing country singer Garth Brooks in a cowboy hat and cowboy boots playing his guitar and belting out his country hits. Here is in a baseball cap, hoodie and sneakers taking some BP before a White Sox game.

That’s White Sox manager Robin Ventura tossing some BP pitches for old Garth to swing away at. Just one of the perks of being a major recording superstar whose popularity spans across multiple continents.
When you or I want to take a little BP, we hit the local batting cage, stick an old cracked battling helmet on our head and swing away with a scuffed old metal bat.
When Garth wants to take BP, he goes on the field before a major league game and takes some swings off a major league manager who used to be a major league hitter.
I hope Garth paid Ventura back with some guitar lessons. Or some country dancing lessons at least.
