NFL Overreactions Week 2: Jets one-up the Giants choke
It’s hard to believe that it’s already the second week of the NFL season; Week 1 feels like it was so long ago.
But here we are, in Week 2 that saw more interesting, exciting and depressing things that we expect from every game during an NFL season.
We saw the New York Giants lose a game they could’ve won because one of their new players can’t tackle, nor can the rest of their team, we saw the Jets choke as bad as their NFC counterparts. Week 2 also saw the Browns play in another come-from-behind kind of game, led by a quarterback not named Johnny Manziel, while in Oakland, it saw the Raiders fail to show up against Houston.
Robert Griffin III is going to miss more time, yet again, due to injury, while his backup Kirk Cousins makes his case to be an NFL starting quarterback.
What were some of the top stories of Week 2? Let’s quickly recap what happened on the second NFL Sunday of the year.
