Robert Griffin III dislocated his ankle and is out indefinitely which as a lot of fans wondering just when the quarterback is going to be returning to action. Initial reports indicated that Griffin could miss the rest of the season but those have since come down in length.
But the diagnosis still isn’t positive as Griffin is likely to miss 6-8 weeks, according to an educated guess from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Another thing to note is that RGIII won’t be placed on IR as doing so would end his season since Washington has already used their IR-designated to return slot.
In the meantime, it’s going to be Kirk Cousins show as the Washington backup will once again be taking over the reigns for RGIII for the third consecutive season of his career.
