A day after Golf Channel’s John Feinstein wrote a column saying that Davis Love III would be the best coaching option for the greatest golfer of all-time, Tiger Woods, Love III took to Twitter to calm everyone down.

Love III clearly has no interest in coaching Tiger. The 50-year-old played a full schedule in 2014, making the cut in 15 of 22 starts. He’s a lfietime PGA Tour and while he is eligible to play the Champions Tour, he has shown his desire to remain competitive on the PGA Tour.

Tiger Woods fired swing coach Sean Foley in August who he was with since dropping Hank Haney as his coach in 2010. Tiger Woods has also had Butch Harmon as a coach before Haney. Right now, Tiger said he’s not currently looking for a golf coach in a press conference at Isleworth Golf and Country Club during a news conference for the Hero World Challenge, which will be played at the course Dec. 4-7.

Many have argued that Tiger, arguably the best golfer to have lived, doesn’t need a swing coach and that he’s his best coach. He certainly is a very independent athlete, and may be able to get along better with the original lessons he learned from his father Earl Woods, that made him talented in the first place.
