As part of Fox Sports’ Fantasy Football Uncensored, Ferrara was asked about his decision to bench Manning in favor of Tony Romo (as a reminder, Manning was playing at home against what is left of the Kansas City Chiefs’ defense).
As Ferrara scrambled to defend his lineup decision, one that ultimately cost him his week 2 match-up against Chuck Liddell, the show then called on Denver Broncos’ head coach John Fox to give his thoughts on the decision.
Here is the video of the exchange between Fox and Ferrara, courtesy of Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer.
Seriously though. Romo over Manning? I’m not sure if you make that move if Romo is playing against an FCS football team, let alone if he and Manning are both playing against NFL defenses. Very questionable management from Ferrara.
