The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting embarrassed at home against the Indianapolis Colts and entered halftime trailing by 30 points.
As a result, we get the debut of top give pick Blake Bortles.
During the preseason, Bortles appeared to be the better of the two quarterbacks, but head coach Gus Bradley ultimately decided to go with the veteran Chad Henne.
Now that Bortles is in, Henne’s time as the Jaguars starter may have come to an end.
The Jaguars will almost certainly find themselves at 0-3 after this weekend and they will have had a nice opportunity to evaluate Bortles in real game action.
If they are confident and believe that he is capable to play for an entire game without any horrendous errors, then there is no reason to go back to Henne.
