Chicago Bears vs Green Bay Packers
The Chicago Bears are trying to get an even bigger lead in the NFC North than they thought they’d have through three weeks in the season, as they sit at 2-1 and in control of the division. Detroit’s win over the Packers last weekend gave the Lions a 2-1 mark to match Chicago’s, but this week could help change that.

Green Bay is 1-2 and tied with the Vikings at the bottom of the North. A win on Sunday evens things out in the black and blue division but a loss to the Bears sinks the Packers to 1-3 and put them in an improbable situation. That’s something the team is trying to avoid having happen, but that’s been clearly a lot easier said than done.

Keys to Victory
The Green Bay Packers have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL but for some reason things just aren’t working right this season. That’s something that the Bears are going to want to exploit — specifically Jared Allen. He and Rodgers have a history together dating back to Allen’s’ recent days in Minnesota and when Allen has Rodgers’ number he has it good.
Green Bay can counter this by stifling Jay Cutler but so far he seems to be on pace for a solid season. Ever since he took a hard shot against the 49ers, something in him has been fixed like a guy with buck teeth getting kicked int he face by a horse and straightening his smile. Cutler isn’t someone to rely on fully but he’s been off to a great start this season and Green Bay’s job is to make sure the smile of his gets crooked real fast on Sunday.
Betting Odds
Point Spread: Packers -1.5
Moneyline: Bears (+100), Packers (-120)
O/U: 50
Prediction
The Bears are on a roll as it seems this offense is finally clicking in ways it’s been needing to in years past. Marc Trestman is a mastermind here and his schemes are working well. Green bay mustn’t be counted out though as a loss in Week 3 could be devastating which means they’re going to fight and claw to even their record against their biggest rival.
Final Score: Bears 24, Packers 21
