San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis has been battling a pair of injuries, to his knee and ankle in particular. He was listed as a game-time decision coming into Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles, but according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Vernon Davis is “good to go.”

That is big news for the 49ers offense, though Davis. Through two game Davis has seven receptions for 83 yards and two touchdowns. During practice leading up to Week 4 Davis was limited but coach Jim Harbaugh was optimistic on Friday.
This isn’t official yet however, just Ian Rapoport explaining what he has heard but it is a good sign.
