It was a busy summer for the Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan.
As is the case for most players who spend time with Team USA in the offseason (especially when it’s the FIBA World Cup and it’s being hosted by a country across the pond), their summers are jam packed with traveling and playing in games that usually end in blowouts. So, while DeRozan was helping his country get ready for their gold medal run, he didn’t have as much downtown to hit the gym and prepare for the upcoming NBA season.
Seeing as he did have one major goal this summer, though, he had to get a little creative, and that he did. According to TSN Sports’ Josh Lewenberg, DeRozan wrote the alphabet out every day, in its entirety, with his left hand to become more ambidextrous.

Last summer, DeRozan dribbled around Walmart with a caution jacket on to work on his handle, so this is a nice change up from the all-star.
Will it work, though? Probably not. But points for creativity!
