When you think of Miami Heat center, Chris “Birdman” Andersen, what is the first thing that comes to mind? His plethora of tattoos? His mo-hawk? His shorter ZZ-Top-esque beard? His effervescent energy on the court?

If you thought of one of those traits, then you will understand why Hard Rock Energy has partnered with Andersen to create a line of specialized energy drinks bearing his name:

As the Seminole Tribune reports, Andersen’s energy and rocker look is what made him a natural fit for Hard Rock Energy

"“In basketball, Chris is known as an energy player,” said David Drow, executive director of Enterprise Beverage Group, which produces, distributes and markets the product. “We’re an image and lifestyle brand. Part of that is about being fun, a little crazy and maybe a little off-center. We make things rock harder.” Drow said Andersen, also known as “Birdzilla,” advances Hard Rock Energy because he represents the “craziness and wild side” of the Hard Rock lifestyle.“I’m very energetic on the court and that rolls into my personal life … You do know I’m wild, right?” he said. “With my image, Hard Rock’s image and the fact that I love all kinds of music, to be part of (Hard Rock Energy) is best for me and the company.” A fan of the product, Andersen said his home refrigerator is stocked with Hard Rock Energy. The drink comes in three flavors: Original (citrus), Paradise Punch (tropical punch) and Sugar Free (light citrus), but Andersen said he looks forward to helping the company create a flavor of his own."

Andersen talked more with the

Miami New Times

about the partnership:

"Birdman said that although Hard Rock is more synonymous with music than sports, the endorsement makes sense. “I do have on my arm a tattoo stating ‘a real rock ‘n’ roller.’ In my previous life, I think I actually was a rock ‘n’ roller. But now I’m an athlete. This is the way the cards were dealt to me.” Birdman says that he’s hoping to work with the energy drink company to design his own unique flavor in the future. So what would Birdman taste like if he were a beverage? “Green tea and ginseng.”"

Green tea and ginseng may not sound like rock ‘n’ roll but check out these videos from Andersen’s Hard Rock Energy photo shoot. He is the total embodiment of the brand.

Just look at him crushing cans:

And living that rock ‘n’ roll model life:

As of now, there is no set date for when Andersen’s flavor of Hard Rock Energy is coming out. But don’t fret, just break some guitars and live that Hard Rock life until that day comes:
