However, they entered Thursday night’s game at Autzen Stadium as 23-point point underdogs to the second-ranked Ducks.

During the game, the Wildcats looked like anything but underdogs. They played with the Ducks all night and after falling behind 14-10 in the third quarter, they scored touchdowns on their next two possessions to take a 24-14 lead. After the Ducks tied the game, Terris Jones-Grigsby’s touchdown put the Wildcats up 31-24 with under three minutes play.

The Ducks got the ball back and picked up back-to-back first downs before Scooby Wright III made his big play. Scooby Wright III sacked Marcus Mariota, forcing and recovering a fumble to give the Wildcats the ball back. After picking up a first down, the Wildcats were able to walk away with a victory.
