Floyd Mayweather is never at a loss for words and he’s not afraid to call anybody out. Anybody also includes his trainer, who is also his father.
Mayweather’s father told reporters yesterday that a fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will definitely happen. When Mayweather heard what his father claimed he wasn’t happy. Here’s what Mayweather told fighthype.com about his father’s remarks.

I want my dad to be with my team, but if he continues to go out there and speak on things that he has no knowledge about without communicating with me, then I must get a new trainer. I’m just saying, when Pacquiao was sleeping, everybody was like, “Y’all crazy for trying to make that Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.” You know what’s so crazy? I just look at the situation like this, ever since Ariza left Pacquiao, he hasn’t had a knockout. What a coincidence!”"
So, along with taking a shot at his father, Mayweather also took a shot at Manny Pacquiao. Boxing fans have been dying to see a Mayweather and Pacquiao show down for numerous years now and it still hasn’t happened. Even if it happens now it still wont have the same hype that it would’ve had a couple of years ago. With Mayweather’s recent comments, it appears that this fight may never actually happen.
