While the Giants enter Sunday night’s game against the Eagles riding a three-game win streak, the lack of big plays from the receiving corps has been an issue. However, wideout Ruben Randle feels that they will have a chance to make a big play or two on the Philadelphia secondary.

“We can,” Randle said. “They provide a lot of opportunities to make a big play. We just have to go out and execute our game plan and make some plays.”

The Giants have had just one play of more than 36 yards from their wideouts thus far, a 61-yard catch from Victor Cruz in New York’s week three win over Houston. Still, Randle’s belief has plenty of merit.

Philadelphia is 28th overall against the pass and have allowed an NFL-worst 13 touchdown passes. The Eagles have given up passing plays of 81 yards to the Redskins’ DeSean Jackson, 34 yards to the Jaguars’ Allen Hurns, along with a host of other plays of 20 or more yards.

Rams rookie quarterback Austin Davis was able to light up the Eagles for 375 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s loss. Philadelphia has recorded just three interceptions thus far as they are 29th in yards allowed per game.

New York has speedsters in both Randle and rookie Odell Beckham, Jr. and will look to test the Eagles secondary early, as quarterback Eli Manning — who will make his 157th straight start — will look to generate more offense than the last time the two teams played, a 15-7 Giants win last October 27.
