The NBA and ESPN are trying their best to hype up Saturday’s preseason game between the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers as much as they can. Who can blame them? With LeBron James playing his former team, how could you not try to cash in on the ratings?

Since it is preseason, the basketball game itself is quite meaningless other than both teams getting in some practice against a quality opponent. The drama though? We’ll see how real that gets.
Wade and LeBron were close friends in Miami, and maintain they remain close even after the breakup. Apparently, the two saw each other at some NBA event in Brazil before the game.

They look so happy, don’t they? But on the court, it could get intense. Remember those great battles between Wade and James before they teamed up in Miami? Good times.
What I’m most interested in, other than the pregame handshake, is how they go at each other in the game. After playing together for four years, they know one another’s tendencies. That could make for a couple of very interesting possessions.
The Heat and Cavaliers will play Saturday, at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN News.
