Treon Harris’ accuser has dropped her sexual battery complaint against the Florida Gators’ freshman quarterback who had been suspended
True freshman quarterback for the Florida Gators, Treon Harris, was suspended earlier this week after he was linked to a sexual battery investigation. On Friday, the accuser dropped her sexual battery complaint, according to Harris’ lawyer Huntley Johnson, via Mike Bianchi of the Orlando Sentinel.
Throughout the week Johnson has remained steadfast in his belief that Harris would not be arrested or charger for this and today that was confirmed.

Harris was one of the top recruits for head coach Will Muschamp this year and came in on relief of starting quarterback Jeff Driskel in the fourth quarter in the game against the Tennessee Volunteers when he quickly led the team to two scoring drives to escape Knoxville with a 10-9 win over their SEC east foes.

If Harris is reinstated to the team for Saturday’s game vs the LSU Tigers he could see action in a reserve role with Driskel who was named the starter earlier in the week, but it remains to be seen how ready he would be for action after missing a week of practice.
