The way that things are shaping up at the moment, it’s looking more and more like WrestleMania 31 will have a lot of participants that we don’t see on a regular basis. Two of the huge names that have been rumored to be involved on the show are Sting and Hulk Hogan, both of whom may be stepping into the ring for the final time on that night.
According to WrestleZone, citing a report from the Wrestling Observer, both Sting and Hogan could be wrestling their respective retirement matches at the biggest event of the year, making it that much more necessary to watch than it already is.
"According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is still a possibility that both Hulk Hogan and Sting could both wrestle their retirement matches at Wrestlemania 31."
Hogan has been going around for quite a while and saying that he wants to step into the ring one more time and that he’s healthy enough to do so. Of course, the match that most would maybe like to see there would be a showdown between Hogan and John Cena, a match up of two of the biggest babyfaces of all time in the industry.
As for Sting, there are a few possibilities that have been thrown out there. As we all know, the definitive match that everyone wants to see for the Stinger is with the Undertaker. However, this all really depends on whether or not Taker is healthy enough to go in the ring. Then there have been the rumors of a match with Bray Wyatt, something that Sting has even stated in public that he would be interested in.
While some might groan, it will no doubt be exciting to see two of the biggest legends in the business stepping into the ring for the final time on the biggest stage of them all.
