The Toronto Raptors played host to the Boston Celtics on Friday night.
The Raptors came away with a 116-109 victory to improve to 2-1 in the preseason. Kyle Lowry led the way with 18 points, six assists, five steals and three rebounds while Avery Bradley scored 22 points and pulled down two rebounds.
It was another fantastic game for Lowry, who is coming off the best season of his career. Lowry and his back court mate DeMar DeRozan are the team’s two best players.
In Friday’s game, DeMar DeRozan also had 18 points (on six-of-16 shooting), three rebounds, three assists and one brilliant play. DeRozan threw the ball off of the backboard and grabbed it himself, laying it in.
