The NBA preseason is now a week old and we’ve already seen our share of big-time plays. The NBA put together their top five plays from all of the action Friday night.
5. Phoenix Suns’ point guard Isaiah Thomas finds guard Archie Goodwin for the jam on a beautiful no-look pass in a 97-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
4. Boston Celtics’ guard Evan Turner pump fakes and then hits Jared Sullinger with a no-look pass for the jam in a 116-109 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
3. Dallas Mavericks’ forward Chandler Parsons drives through the lane and hits Tyson Chandler with an alley-oop in a 118-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves’ point guard Ricky Rubio gets out in transition and hits the number one overall pick of this summer’s draft, swingman Andrew Wiggins, for a huge alley-oop in a 116-100 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
1. Toronto Raptors’ guard DeMar DeRozan throws a pass off of the backboard to himself for a layup in a 116-109 victory over the Boston Celtics.
