The Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers are heading into what will likely be a rivalry for quite some time with LeBron James back in Cleveland and his former teammates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade staying in Miami. Bosh has been talking about James quite a bit this offseason and he had more comments following their preseason game. Miami lost to the Cavaliers 122-119 in overtime.
James was only able to score seven points on 2-8 shooting, which is likely why Bosh decided to open his mouth about James’ shape. It’s still very strange to hear Bosh talk negatively about his former teammate and it seems like he has been trying to get under James’ skin all offseason long. Bosh obviously was hurt and offended that James left Miami to return to Cleveland.
Despite Bosh’s comment, James looks just fine and ready to go for the regular season. James had a bit of a down game, but he also dished out eight assists in the win. It will take awhile for James and the rest of the Cavaliers to get used to the new team that they have put together, but James will be ready to go full speed once the regular season opens up.
All of that being said, the Heat and Cavaliers are shaping up to have some very meaningful games with a lot of animosity between each other. James has already responded to some of Bosh’s comments and it will be intriguing to see what else Bosh has to say this year. Needless to say, this is all entertaining and fun to watch and listen to as Bosh continues to dig himself a bigger whole by not keeping his mouth shut.
