Blake Griffin and other NBA players participated in a book club for a Jimmy Kimmel Live skit.
Blake Griffin is regarded as one of the funniest players in the NBA, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that the Los Angeles Clippers starred in a hilarious skit for ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Griffin led fellow NBA players Matt Barnes, Chandler Parsons and Iman Shumpert in a book club that discussed Nicholas Sparks’ popular book, The Best of Me.
Griffin starts off the skit asking, “Before we begin, does anybody else need some chardonnay?” to which Shumpert replies “No, white wine gives me a headache.” The bit continues with Shumpert, Griffin and Barnes all agreeing about the high quality of the book, but Parsons deems it “prosaic” causing a hilarious argument between he and Barnes.
Fortunately, everybody ultimately finds common ground when Sparks comes out and defends his book to Parsons.
It’s generally awesome to see NBA players joking around off the basketball court and this was no different.

Griffin averaged 24.1 points and 9.5 rebounds this past season with the Los Angeles Clippers. Barnes, Griffin’s teammate in L.A., averaged 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds. Parsons averaged 16.6 points and 5.5 rebounds with the Houston Rockets, while Shumpert averaged 6.7 points and 4.2 rebounds for the New York Knicks.
