Last week was another rough week for our undefeated friends. TCU, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and Arizona all fell from the ranks of the unbeaten.

That leaves us with six left standing. Here is a look at the week ahead for these last six:
Notre Dame(6-0) at Florida State(6-0): We will be down to five after this Saturday no matter what. Notre Dame allowed the most points in school history in a win last week against North Carolina. The Seminoles handled Syracuse behind Jameis Winston’s best game of the season. Florida State would seem to be the hands-down favorite. But let’s take a closer look, shall we?
The Seminoles haven’t faced a defense like the Irish have yet this season. Florida State struggled with Oklahoma State and North Carolina State earlier this season. Then again, the same is true for Notre Dame. They haven’t faced a defense like the Seminoles have, and they struggled with North Carolina last week. Notre Dame might have the ability to win this, but they would have a play a flawless game. They haven’t done that since Michigan.
Baylor(6-0) at West Virginia: The last couple of times that these teams have gotten together, they checked their defenses at the door. You will likely see that happen again. Both of them have shown an ability to put points on the board in a hurry. They can both give them up just as fast, it seems.
Marshall(6-0) at Florida International: FIU has looked much better since they lost to Bethune-Cookman in the opener, but they don’t have anyone on defense who can rattle Rakeem Cato. No one in the conference does. That means that the Herd would really have to play a bad game to lose. FIU might give them a fight though.
Mississippi(6-0) vs. Tennessee: This is a bit of an easier game for the Rebels, but as they say, nothing but Vanderbilt is easy in the SEC. Tennessee’s offense is starting to play better, but Mississippi’s defense has been terrorizing everyone. If Tennessee can hang around until midway through the third quarter, they have a chance. I don’t really see them doing that though.
Mississippi State(6-0) at Kentucky: This looks like a trap game for the Bulldogs after emotional wins over Texas A&M and Auburn. Kentucky is not a pushover anymore. Just ask South Carolina. If Prescott can avoid mistakes (and ESPN coverage……they are handing him the Heisman right now!), The Bulldogs should win this game. The Wildcats are not going to go quietly though.
